1 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
5 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Blend flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Add to cream mixture. Beat well. Roll cookie in mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 50 cookies.
