SWEDISH SPARERIBS 
5 lbs. spareribs (country style)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1/4 tsp. ginger or powdered mustard
1 c. prune juice

Trim meat and wipe. Rub with mixed seasonings. Brown in Dutch oven on both sides. Reduce heat and roast in moderate oven, about 1 hour or until meat is tender. Baste occasionally. Add prune juice.
