CHICKEN CACCIATORE 
1 (3-4 lb.) chicken
2 tbsp. oil
1 med. onion
1 green pepper
1/2 red pepper
1 clove garlic
1 can tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. white wine
Salt & pepper to taste

Chop peppers and onion. Flour chicken. Preheat skillet on medium high and brown all sides in shortening. Add remaining ingredients over the chicken, cover and simmer until done, adding liquid if necessary. Chicken broth is good.
