PENUCHE BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1/3 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder

PENUCHE FROSTING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine butter, sugar and milk in a saucepan. Bring to boil (stirring). Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into a well greased 9x13 pan and spread evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
