1 box German chocolate cake mix 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 jar Mrs. Richardson's caramel fudge topping (room temperature) 1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip (small) Heath bars, broken into pieces Mix German chocolate cake mix as directed. However, this is sooo rich, make it as a one layer 9 x 13-inch cake. When cooked, but still hot, poke holes in cake with long end of wooden spoon. Pour can of sweetened condensed milk over cake. Then pour 1 jar Mrs. Richardson's caramel fudge topping (or any ice cream caramel topping). Refrigerate. When cool, spread refrigerator temperature Cool Whip over top and sides of cake. Break Heath bars into very small pieces and sprinkle over top. Cut into small squares, 2 x 2-inch. |
