MELTING MOMENTS 
2/3 c. cornstarch
1/3 c. powdered sugar
1 c. unsifted flour
1 c. softened butter

Cream shortening and sugar. Add cornstarch and flour. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
3 tsp. lemon juice
Pinch of grated rind

For a little different cookie flavor, add a touch of almond flavoring to the batter. Makes 3 dozen.
