LEMONS BARS DELUXE 
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
4 beaten eggs
1/4 c. all purpose flour
1 c. butter, 2 sticks
2 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Sift together 2 cups flour and confectioners sugar. Cut in butter until mixture clings together. Press into 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned.

Beat together eggs, granulated sugar and lemon juice. (Don't beat eggs too hard). Sift together the 1/4 cup flour and baking powder. Stir into egg mixture. Pour over baked crust.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until custard is done. Sprinkle with additional confectioners sugar. Cool. Cut into squares or bars. Makes about 30 bars.
