2 c. flour 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 c. butter Blend dry ingredients. Mix in butter. Pile into 9 inch ungreased pan. Press on bottom and up to 1/2 the sides. STEP 2: 1 c. sugar Drained, canned or fresh peaches (about 1 qt.) 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 eggs 1 c. heavy cream or evaporated milk Place peaches on crust, cover with sugar and cinnamon mix. Bake 15 minutes, then pour cream mixed with beaten eggs over it. Bake 30 minutes longer in oven at 375 degrees. Best served warm with Cool Whip, if desired for garnish, with a cherry. |
