BREAD PUDDING 
4 c. milk
1 stick butter
5 c. bread crumbs
1 c. sugar
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon

Scald milk and butter. Mix remaining pudding ingredients in with the scalded milk mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes. Set baking dish in pan with water while baking. Serve warm with Lemon Sauce.

LEMON SAUCE:

1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. hot water
Dash salt
1 tsp. lemon peel
3 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. butter

Cook cornstarch, sugar, water and salt until thickened, then add remaining ingredients.
