CRACKER JACKS 
8 qts. popcorn
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. white syrup
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix sugar, butter, and syrup; and bring to a rolling boil. Boil for 5 minutes and then add vanilla and baking soda. Pour over popcorn and stir. Put on 2 cookie sheets and cook for 1 hour at 250 degrees. Stir every few minutes.

Note: You can add 1 cup raw peanuts per pan before you put in the oven, if you like peanuts in your Cracker Jacks.
