CHOCOLATE MACAROON TOPPERS 
Bake at 375 degrees 12-15 minutes.

4 c. (1 14 oz. pkg.) grated coconut
1 c. powdered sugar

2 egg whites
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Chill.

1 c. butter
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar

2 unbeaten egg yolks
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix well. Add 3 cups sifted flour; mix well. Form into 15 inch roll. Wrap in Saran Wrap and chill over night. Cut cookie dough in 1/4 inch slices.

Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Cut coconut roll into 1/4 inch slices. Shape and place on top of cookie slices. Bake.

Melt: 2 cups (12 ounce package) Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate morsels. Frost cookies. Cut maraschino cherries in 1/2, place one on each cookie.
