SHORTCAKE BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening

Mix dry ingredients, work in butter with pastry blender, add milk quickly. Toss on floured board; pat, roll, cut with large biscuit cutter. Bake in hot, 450 degree, oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Split biscuits and fill with berries and ice cream.
