FROZEN DESSERT 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. coconut
2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans)
1/2 gal. ice cream (vanilla)
Fresh or frozen fruit

Melt butter in skillet and blend in brown sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add the coconut, Rice Krispies and nuts. Pour half of the mixture in a large square pan or dish. Place in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.

Put ice cream on top of mixture. Put remainder of mixture on top of ice cream. Freeze until ready to serve. Cut in squares and serve with fresh fruit on top. Peaches or strawberries are good. You can use frozen fruit during the winter months.
