3 boxes Jello, any flavor (sm. size) 4 c. sugar 2 (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice 1 oz. almond extract 1 (12 oz.) bottle lemon juice 2 qts. ginger ale Dissolve Jello in 9 cups hot water. Then dissolve 4 cups sugar in 4 cups water and bring this to a boil. Mix both solutions together and add almond extract, pineapple and lemon juices. This can be made ahead of time and frozen in milk cartons. On the day you plan to serve, take out of freezer at least 4 hours before serving time and allow to thaw. When ready to serve tear off carton and place in punch bowl and chop up and pour ginger ale over it. This will be frothy and taste delicious. (Serves 50) |
