CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
1 stewing chicken, cut up
1 med. onion, sliced
1 stalk celery, chopped
1/3 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt
Chicken broth or bouillon for flavor
Bisquick

Boil chicken, seasonings and vegetables in Dutch oven. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Remove chicken, cool and remove from bones. Add meat back in. Add dumplings according to Bisquick package.
