SPECIAL COMPANY CHICKEN | |
1 pt. whipping cream 8 oz. processed Swiss cheese 2 c. milk Bisquick (3 heaping tsp.) mixed with water to make a runny paste 1 pkg. (8 oz.) fresh mushrooms 1 bunch green onions, chopped 12 hot baked chicken breasts, halved & skinned Paprika Grated Parmesan cheese In a fry pan saute mushrooms and green onion in butter; season with a little garlic salt and set aside. In a saucepan, heat whipping cream and Swiss cheese, just to boiling, stirring constantly. Stir in milk and enough Bisquick mix to thicken sauce. Simmer until sauce is heated through. Add mushrooms and onions to sauce. Place chicken breast in a large baking pan. Cover with sauce. Sprinkle with paprika and Parmesan cheese. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven about 156 minutes or until heated through. Sauce is bubbly. Serve with rice. Makes 12 servings. |
