PASTA POT ROAST 
3 lbs. rump roast
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 onions, chopped
1 carrot, grated
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1 tsp. rosemary
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 (14 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (14 oz.) can beef broth
1 lb. pasta

Heat oil and brown meat on all sides. Add onions and carrots. Saute for 5 minutes. Sprinkle garlic, parsley and rosemary over meat. Add soy sauce, tomatoes and broth. Bring to a boil. Lower to a simmer and cook for 3 hours on top of stove. Turn the meat about every 30 minutes and baste. have pasta cooked at the same meat is ready. Serve meat and pasta together on large platter and serve cooking sauce, unstrained, as a topping.
