CHOCOLATE PAYDAY BARS 
6 c. Rice Chex
1 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. peanuts, blanched
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Mix sugar, syrup, and peanut butter in heavy saucepan. Stir over medium heat until it boils. Add Chex and peanuts; press evenly and firmly into sprayed 9x13 pan using waxed paper.

Spread chocolate chips over warm mixture; spread with spatula to form icing. Put under broiler for minute if chocolate chips are not melting.
