BREAKFAST CAKE 
CAKE:

1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream shortening and sugar; add the rest. It will be thick. Pour half of the mixture into a greased and floured angel food cake pan. Pour half of the topping on the cake mixture. Put the other half of cake mixture on top of that. Then pour remaining topping on the top. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool; slip knife around the edges to remove cake from pan.

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter, melted
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. nuts

Mix all together.
