HOW TO COOK LOBSTERS | |
Lobsters can be boiled or broiled but steaming is more convenient. Do not overcook. Bring two inches of water to a boil in a large pot. Add the lobster, cover and calculate the cooking time. WEIGHT OF LOBSTER COOKING TIME 1 - 1/4 lb. 10 min. 1 1/2 - 2 lb. 15 - 18 min. 2 1/2 - 5 lb. 20 - 25 min. Before serving, slit the tail and crack the claws to allow excess fluid to drain out. |
