1 stick butter, softened
1 egg
1 box butter pecan cake mix

Mix together and put in a greased 13 x 9 inch cake pan.

STEP 2:
1 stick butter
2 eggs
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
2 c. powdered sugar

Mix and pour on top of step 1, then top with 1 cup chopped pecans. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
