SALMON PATTIES | |
1 lb. canned salmon, flaked (undrained) 1 egg, slightly beaten 2 tbsp. finely grated onion 2 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. chopped parsley 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 c. pkgd. fine bread crumbs 3 tbsp. butter Combine ingredients, except butter. Mix with a fork until blended. Shape into 6 to 8 patties. Flatten out slightly. Dip carefully into additional crumbs. Preheat frying pan (320 degrees if electric). Melt butter. Add patties. Brown on each side and serve with chili sauce or catsup. |
