BEEF STEW CASSEROLE 
1 lb. lean stew meat
1 can beef consomme
1/2 c. Burgundy red wine
1 tbsp. cornstarch, about

Brown meat and put in casserole. Pour soup in drippings. Add wine mixture. Pour over meat. Juice should be to top of meat mixture. Cover. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 1/2 hours or until very tender. Serve with noodles or rice.
