HAMBURG AND SOUP PIE 
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 lb. ground beef or venison
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
2 c. mashed potatoes
1/4 c. shredded cheese

Mix together 1/2 can of soup, beef, onion, egg, bread crumbs, parsley and other seasonings. Press firmly into 9-inch pie pan. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.

Spoon off fat. Frost with potatoes; top with remaining soup and cheese. Bake 10 minutes longer or until done. Garnish with cooked sliced bacon, if desired.
