BAKED CHOPS AND RICE 
6 pork chops
1 c. minute rice, uncooked
1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 (10 1/2 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 c. water

Brown chops in skillet. Sprinkle rice in well-greased casserole or cake pan. Add soup mix (dry). Put chops on top of the rice and soup mix. Combine water and mushroom soup and pour over the chops. Cover with foil and seal edges. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. This may be garnished with sliced mushrooms.
