2 pkgs. dry yeast 1 pt. lukewarm water 8 c. flour 1 c. soft butter 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. salt Dissolve yeast in milk - add rest of ingredients alternately. Mix well. Dough should be soft - let rise until triple in size - roll very thin on floured large area. Now dough is ready for filling. FILLING: 3 lbs. ground walnuts 1/4 tsp. salt 1 lg. can condensed milk 2 tsp. cinnamon 2 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. honey 3 eggs, well beaten 1 c. white raisins (optional) Mix all ingredients well. Spread evenly over entire surface of dough, about 1/8 inch thick. Roll as for cinnamon rolls. Cut in small loaves. Let rise 1/2 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. Grease pans well. |
