GLOSSY CHOCOLATE FROSTING 
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1-oz. square unsweetened chocolate, grated
dash of salt
1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and cornstarch. Add chocolate and salt. Add water. Cook until thick and then remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla.

Makes enough for one 9 inch square cake or one loaf cake.
