BLUEBERRY BATTER CAKE 
2 c. blueberries
3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water

Line a well greased 8 inch square pan with berries. Cream sugar and butter. Add milk alternately with flour, baking powder and salt which have been sifted together. Spread this batter evenly over berries.

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt; sprinkle mixture over batter in pan. Pour boiling water over all and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 6.
