SUPPER SKILLET MEAL | |
1 lb. hamburger 2 c. cooked or canned tomatoes 1 c. soft bread crumbs 1 tsp. salt 1 c. whole kernel corn, drained 1 c. sliced onions 1/8 tsp. pepper Combine hamburger, bread crumbs, seasonings. Fry in heavy skillet, stirring frequently until well browned. Cover hamburger with corn and onions. Sprinkle salt over onions. Add tomatoes. Do not stir mixture but have in layers over meat. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve from skillet. Serves 6. |
