CHICKEN CACCIATORE 
2 lbs. chicken parts or chicken cutlets, cut up in bite-size pieces
2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. red wine
1 med. onion, sliced
1 sm. jar Ragu
1 1/2 green pepper strips

Season chicken with salt and pepper; brown in shortening. Discard fat. Add onion, wine and sauce. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Add green peppers and simmer for about 10 minutes or desired crispness. Serve over white rice. Serves 4.
