PORK CHOPS AND RICE 
1 sm. onion, sliced
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
4 pork chops
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 (8 oz.) cans Hunts tomato sauce
1/4 c. chopped celery
2 tbsp. oil
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. regular uncooked rice

In electric skillet at 325 degrees brown and boil rice, then 200 degrees to simmer.

Saute onions and celery lightly in oil. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper and brown on both sides. Remove chops. Add water, brown sugar, salt and pepper and 1 1/2 cans of tomato sauce. Stir, bring to boil, add rice and stir. There will be a lot of liquid, but the rice will absorb it.

Return chops to the skillet and cover. Simmer 30 minutes. Pour on remaining 1/2 can of sauce. Cover and cook 15 minutes more.
