2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cream of tartar
23 Ritz crackers
Cinnamon
Butter
Unbaked pastry for 2 crust pie

Mix first 3 ingredients; bring to full boil. Drop whole Ritz crackers; boil for 2 minutes. Do not stir. Remove from heat. Pour mixture into pie shell. Sprinkle with cinnamon; dot with butter. Add top crust. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes; reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. Continue baking for 20 minutes longer. Yield: 6-8 servings.
