RED CLOUD PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
3/4 c. soft shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. peanut butter
1 egg

Mix together thoroughly.

Stir in:

1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Chill dough. Roll into large walnut size balls. Place 3 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Flatten with fork dipped in flour. Criss cross. Bake until set, but not hard. Temperature: 350 degrees. Time: 10 minutes. Amount: 3 dozen 2 1/2 inch cookies.
