REAL CORN AND POTATO CHOWDER 
1/2 pkg. bacon
12 medium potatoes
2-3 cans kernel corn
2-3 lg. onions
Parsley
2 cans evaporated milk

Cook bacon to crisp and allow to cool right in pan. Peel and chunk potatoes; boil in 4 quart pan. Cut in chunks of onions and add to boiling potatoes. Cook no more than 15 minutes. Crumble bacon right in it's pan and pour into potatoes and onions along with the bacon grease. Add 2-3 cans corn (drained) and 2 cans evaporated milk. Add parsley (couple tablespoons); salt and pepper to taste. This takes about 25-30 minutes and is a complete meal.

Note: This doesn't have to do with healthy eating - but it's incredibly good!
