JELLO SUGAR COOKIES 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Cream butter, powdered sugar, oil and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift baking soda, salt, cream of tartar and flour together. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Chill dough.

Roll into small balls; then roll in dry jello. Press down. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes. Don't brown.

Makes 7 dozen.
