SLOPPY JOES IN PITA POCKETS 
1 1/2 lbs. ground veal or turkey
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 med. bell pepper, chopped
2 c. canned tomatoes
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tsp. chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
4 sm. pita pockets

Cook and mash veal in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add remaining ingredients except pita bread. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken. Warm pita pockets - cut in half and spoon mixture inside. Divide evenly. Makes 4 servings for midday or evening meal. 1 serving = 4 ounce protein, 1/2 cup vegetable, 1 bread.
