JIFFY TORTE 
6 egg whites
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. crushed soda crackers
1 c. chopped nuts
Cool Whip
1 lg. can cherry pie filling

Beat egg whites until stiff and add baking powder, vanilla, soda crackers, nuts, and sugar (add the sugar gradually). Pour into spring form pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Cover with Cool Whip and spoon a large can cherry pie filling over the top.
