PEACH, PLUM OR CHERRY DUMPLINGS 
2 c. mashed potatoes (cool)
1/2 c. cream of wheat
2 eggs
2 c. flour

Mix the above 4 ingredients in a mixing bowl to make a soft like dough. Then roll dough on a floured table until it is 1/4" thick. Then cut into squares and put squares around peach or fruit being used. Also make sure dough is sealed well around fruit. While you are making dough, put a kettle on with water enough to cover dumpling when put into water. Let come to a rolling boil. Then the water is ready for the dumplings. When dumplings are put into boiling water they will sink to the bottom and when done they will come to the top of the water. When dumpling is done take out and roll in topping.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter, melted
2 c. bread crumbs
1 c. sugar

Put butter into skillet and melt, then add bread crumbs and sugar and mix all three together until all three are mixed well. Then off heat and roll dumplings in mixture.
