BLACK BOTTOM CHERRY CREAM BARS 
1/3 c. butter
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 egg
2 c. grated coconut
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1 sm. jar maraschino cherries
3/4 c. sweetened condensed milk

Melt butter; add cocoa, sugar, flour and egg; mix well. Pat into 9"x9" pan. Place cherries, cut in half on chocolate mixture. Combine coconut and condensed milk. Spoon over cherries, spread to cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Frost warm, cool and cut into small squares.

FROSTING:

5 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Boil butter, sugar and milk for 1 minute. Add marshmallows and chocolate chips.
