QUICK MARSHMALLOW FROSTING
1 c. white corn syrup or 1/2 c. corn syrup and 1/2 c. syrup made from sugar and water
1 c. granulated sugar
4 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 tsp. vanilla

Put the sugar and syrup in a small saucepan over a medium fire; heat only enough to melt the sugar and come to a boil. Pour in a small stream over the egg whites, beaten stiff. Beat until the frosting stands in soft mounds. Add vanilla while beating.

This frosting can be used on ice cream and sodas. However it must be kept in refrigerator and used soon. This recipe makes from 6 to 7 cups frosting. For less amount, use half the amount of ingredients.

Note: This recipe comes from Brazil and was given to me by a Christian friend.
