FETTUCCINE ALFREDO 
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. butter, softened
2 tbsp. dried parsley
1 tsp. dried whole basil
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled (set aside)
2/3 c. boiling water
1 (8 oz.) pkg. fettuccine
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. Parmesan or Romano cheese

Beat cream cheese and 1/4 cup butter on low speed of electric mixer until blended. Add parsley, basil and pepper; mix well. Add boiling water; beat until smooth.

Cook fettuccine according to package directions; drain well. Rinse in warm water; drain well and set aside. Saute garlic and 1/4 cup butter in a pan until tender.
