CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter (I use butter)
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
3 c. sifted cake flour (reg. plain flour minus 6 tbsp.)
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/4 c. sweet milk
5 lg. eggs or 6 sm. eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, sugar and shortening. Sift dry ingredients. Add with milk alternately 1/3 at a time beating constantly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add vanilla last. Bake in well greased and floured bundt pan at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

ICING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. chocolate semi-sweet chips

Melt together and boil until sugar is dissolved. Let it boil up a few seconds more and then beat by hand until creamy. Very good and easy.
