CRANBERRY PARFAIT 
Here's a dessert you can whip up in a minute - tastes as though you labored an hour.

1/2 (14 oz.) can jellied cranberry sauce
2 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 egg white
1/2 pint heavy cream
1 tsp. almond extract

Beat the cranberry sauce and powdered sugar with a fork. Add stiffly beaten egg white, whipped cream, and flavoring.

Freeze in tray of refrigerator at coldest setting until firm.

Serves 6.
