EVER - SO - EASY FRUITCAKE | |
2 1/2 c. unsifted flour 1 tsp. baking soda 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 (28 oz.) jar None Such ready to use mince meat 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated) 2 c. (1 lb.) mixed candied fruit 1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Generously grease and flour a 9 or 10 inch tube pan. Sift together flour and baking soda; set aside. In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients; blend in dry ingredients. Pour in prepared pan. Bake 1 hour and 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool and garnish as desired. To store cake: cool thoroughly; wrap in aluminum foil and refrigerate or freeze. |
