LEMON POUND CAKE 
3 c. flour
3 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 sticks butter
1/4 c. Crisco
2 tsp. lemon extract
6 eggs

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute between each egg. Add 1/2 of the flour. Beat 1 1/2 minutes. Add lemon extract. Put into greased and floured tube pan. Start in a cold oven. Bake approximately 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
