COCOA KISS COOKIES | |
1 c. butter, softened 2/3 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour 1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa 1 c. finely chopped pecans 54 Hershey's kisses (9 oz. pkg.), unwrapped Confectioners' sugar In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Stir together flour and cocoa; blend into butter mixture. Add pecans; beat on low speed until well blended. Chill dough about 1 hour, or until firm enough to handle. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mold scant tablespoon of dough around each unwrapped kiss, covering kiss completely. Shape into balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely; roll in confectioners' sugar. Roll in sugar again before serving, if desired. |
