TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour cream or buttermilk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs

GROUP #2:
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
3 tbsp. cocoa

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

While Group #2 is melting in pan, mix Group #1. Pour #2 into #1 and mix well. Pour into greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. While cake is baking, prepare frosting and ice cake as soon as it comes from the oven. Bring to a low boil, butter, milk, and cocoa. Add sugar, vanilla, and nuts; beat well. Makes 12 to 15 servings.
