1 spice cake mix
4 c. candied fruit
1 1/2 c. seedless raisins
4 1/2 c. cut-up pecans
1 fluffy frosting mix
1/2 c. candied red cherries
1/2 c. candied green cherries
1 c. dates

Cook spice cake mix by directions on back of box. Prepare frosting mix by its directions. Crumble spice cake up in big bowl and pour prepared frosting mix with cake. Combine all above ingredients and press with hands. Press in tube pan.

Cook about 2 weeks before serving. Place in ice box or a cool place. The longer a fruit cake sits, the better it is.
