2 c. butter, softened
8 oz. cream cheese, soft
2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
5-6 c. flour
1 tbsp. vanilla

Cream together cream cheese, sugar and butter. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Add flour 1 cup at a time. Shape into 1" balls. Press cherries or kisses on top or make thumbprint for jam. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees on greased cookie sheet.
