SYBIL'S PASTA SALAD 
1 lg. box macaroni (or twists, etc.)
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. finely chopped bell pepper
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar

Cook macaroni according to directions on package in salted water. Drain. Rinse with cold water. Make dressing using oil, sugar and vinegar. Combine macaroni, dressing and vegetables. Let sit overnight or 24 hours. Gets better the longer it sits. Other fresh vegetables may be added.
